Unbelievably, a Superman comic found in an attic has become the most valuable ever after being sold for $9.12 million (Rs 80.10 Crore in Indian currency). The pristine copy of the first Superman comic was found by three brothers stored in their late mother’s home and was sold at an astonishing $9 million at an auction, smashing records and officially becoming the most valuable comic book in history.

The 1939 Superman No. 1 copy closed at a whopping $9.12 million at Heritage Auctions has sent ripples through the collectors' world. This comic is the most expensive ever sold, and its pristine condition is a major reason for the staggering price.

Three brothers, who were cleaning out their late mother's California loft last Christmas, made a life-changing discovery, under a pile of faded newspapers. They found one of the first Superman comics ever made. The Superman comic was an original copy of the June 1939 first edition on the Man of Steel's adventures.

Wayback in 2021, YouTuber Logan Paul of USA had acquired a coveted PSA Grade 10 Pikachu Illustrator card following a record-breaking trade worth $5,275,000.

The card was purchased by Paul from Marwan Dubsy in Dubai on 22 July 2021, breaking the record for most expensive Pokémon trading card sold at a private sale.
