Prompt medical assistance under operation sewaat at asansol railway station

Quick response by the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway helped an expectant mother receive timely medical care after she developed labour pain onboard Train No. 13288 early on Tuesday.

Around 3 am, information was received that a woman passenger travelling in coach B-3 required urgent medical attention. As the train arrived at Asansol station, teams from the Railways, RPF and GRPS, along with a doctor from Gouri Devi Hospital, rushed to the coach and examined her.

Doctors found that the passenger was in labour pain and advised immediate hospitalization. She was shifted to District Hospital, Asansol, by railway ambulance, accompanied by a lady constable of RPF and GRPS.

The passenger was admitted to the female ward of the hospital and is undergoing treatment. The swift and coordinated action by Asansol Division ensured timely medical assistance and safe care for the passenger during the emergency.
