The booming hospitality sector of Kolkata has welcomed a remarkable new addition with the launch of NX Elit, a boutique hotel that is rapidly emerging as one of the city's most talked-about destinations. Strategically located on the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, the hotel blends contemporary luxury, thoughtful design and warm hospitality to create a memorable experience for both business and leisure travellers.

On August 1st ,renowned actor/activist Bobby Chakraborty, was personally there, with select few others, to grab a 1st hand experience of this breathtaking property, with the host of the evening Supreeta Singh, a prominent communication entrepreneur, publicist, and author based in Kolkata, who is also the founder of Searchlight Communication, welcoming him, exuding her trademark warmth and candor.

With 28 elegantly designed rooms spread across Executive Deluxe, Deluxe and Super Deluxe categories, along with a spacious suite, NX Elit focuses on comfort, style and attention to detail. Rather than adopting a conventional design, each floor has been given its own distinctive colour theme, creating a vibrant and refreshing ambience. The interiors, conceptualised by renowned designer Vinoo Chadha, combine bold colour palettes with sophisticated finishes to offer guests a modern yet welcoming environment.

Speaking with Bobby, about the vision behind the property, Managing Director Raju Saha said that NX Elit was created to deliver five-star standards of quality and service in a boutique setting. Drawing upon his extensive experience in the hospitality industry, including an eight-year tenure at Hyatt Grand Central New York, Saha emphasised that every aspect of the hotel has been carefully planned to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Food is another major highlight of NX Elit. The newly opened NX Kitchen, spread across 2,200 square feet, features a stylish lounge and an elegant restaurant. The lounge showcases a dramatic black-and-gold aesthetic with a striking cherry-red accented bar, while the restaurant offers a refined ivory-and-gold décor overlooking the Maa Flyover through expansive windows.
The culinary programme is led by Corporate Chef Naresh Kumar, whose menu celebrates a blend of global favourites, contemporary Indian cuisine and innovative fusion dishes. Guests can enjoy signature comfort-food sandwiches, Indian classics with modern interpretations, buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners, along with an extensive à la carte selection. NX Kitchen is also designed to host private gatherings and celebrations.

The hotel has ambitious expansion plans, including the launch of a speciality Indian restaurant focusing on modern tandoor cuisine on the roof top and a ground-floor café. A 2,000-square-foot banquet hall is also expected to become operational soon, making the property an attractive venue for social functions and corporate events.
