National level IP Yatra (Intellectual Property Workshop) at National Institute of Technology, Durgapur

Two days  National level IP Yatra (Intellectual Property Workshop) has organized by Branch MSME- Development & Facilitation Office, Durgapur, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India in association with Innovation & Incubation Cell, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur from 11.02.2026 to 12.02.2026 at National Institute of Technology, Durgapur.

IP Yatra Programme is an initiative of Ministry of Micro small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India for enhancing the Awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) amongst the MSMEs and to encourage creative intellectual endeavour in Indian Economy. The main objectives of the programme are to increase the number of IP filling ,both in India and abroad, showcasing Govt. of India support mechanism and facilitation through IPFCs developing synergies with State Government schemes and private Institutions to expand the IP footprint , sensitizing and with the process of filling ,acquiring and commercialization of IP Assets etc.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Sukanta Majumder, Hon’ble Minister of State (MoS) for Education, Government of India (virtually ) on 11th February 2026  in presence of Shri P K Das, Director, MSME-DFO, Kolkata, Shri Tapas Roy, Assistant Director and Programme Coordinator, Branch MSME-DFO, Durgapur Prof. Dr. A K Banik, Director (I/c) & Dean (P&D), NIT, Durgapur , Shri B S Popli, ED (MM), SAIL-DSP, ASP, Shri P Parida , General Manager,SAIL-DSP, Dr  Mou Sen, Joint Director of  MSME, Govt. of  West Bengal, Shri Achinta Bhattacharjee, Asst.
