Euphoria at NPS-MOGRA,HOOGHLY-Bobby Chakarborty's Anti Addiction Campaign

Euphoria and overwhelm swept the sprawling campus of Narula Public School-Mogra,Hooghly,one of the renowned schools in West Bengal,as Bobby Chakraborty,effectively carried out the 477th session globally,of his life altering,free of cost,preventive anti addiction campaign here on January 15th.

The enterprising JIS group,the socially responsible and dynamic Principal Kamalpreet Kaur,a strong supporter of Bobby’s awareness drive,along with her efficient team of teachers and coordinators,Manab Paul being the prime connect with Bobby,successfully organized this once in a lifetime experience for their students of the 6th-9th and 11th grades.

Bobby,a renowned actor/activist/teacher of method acting from Kolkata,has been changing millions of lives with this powerful interactive program for the children since the past 2 decades,aptly titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND'. This program empowers a child to stay away from all sorts of addiction (smoking,alcoholism,smart phones) and harmful social trends(abusive language, online obscenity for popularity on social media, gambling through online games,bullying,ragging etc.), through a lot of fun activities and interesting social experiments.

The official photographer of this sparkling session was an extremely well mannered and hardworking soldier Anurag Sharma(XI),assisted by soldier Arko Saha(VI),who also won the ceremonial title of ‘The Best Friend’. The other two coveted titles of ‘The 1st Soldier’ and ‘The Trendsetter’ went to enthusiastic soldiers…Arnabi Das(IX) and Abhra Das(XI) respectively.
The concluding fun contest had soldiers…Abhra, Arnabi and Samudra Goswami(VII),as the winners, who along with Anurag were given special prizes,customised HCF t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by Bobby.

A pleasant chaos ensued after the Principal’s motivational vote of thanks, where the soldiers flocked around their favourite ‘Bobby Dada' to give him a hug,to touch his feet,to get his autograph and click a selfie with him.
