Chhath Special train to run between kolkata & Siwan

Running special trains on the occasion of Chhath Puja holds significant benefits for passengers. The special trains will cater to increased travel demand, offering more convenient and efficient transportation options for people wanting to celebrate. These initiatives contribute to a sense of national unity and celebration during Chhath Puja. Keeping in the view to clear extra rush of passengers, Railway has decided to run one unreserved special train between Kolkata & Siwan.

05584 Siwan – Kolkata unreserved special will leave Siwan at 12:55 hrs. on 29.10.2025 to reach Kolkata at 06:00 hrs. on the next day and 05583 Kolkata – Siwan unreserved special will leave Kolkata at 09:00 hrs. on 30.10.2025 to reach Siwan at 02:30 hrs. on the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur , Hajipur and Chhapra stations enroute in both directions.
