CAB will take responsibility for cricket infrastructure development of Bhagat Singh Sports Complex...Sourav Ganguly

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President and former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly has announced that he will take charge of the infrastructure development of the Bhagat Singh Stadium located in the city center of Durgapur. He said that CAB will manage the work of modernizing the overall infrastructure, including the stadium's dressing rooms.
 
Sourav Ganguly was present at the award ceremony on the last day of the Sports Carnival organized by the Durgapur Club Samannay. on the closing ceremony here today he said that after the over all development, CAB men's and women's cricket competitions will be organized regularly at the Bhagat Singh Sports Complex. It is expected to further increase state-level cricket activity in Durgapur.
 
The sports community, comman citizens and administration of Durgapur are happy with this announcement by Sourav Ganguly here today. Durgapur Municipality Chief Administrator Anindita Mukherjee said, "This announcement by the Maharaja of Bengal is a matter of great pride for the people of Durgapur. This will not only improve the city's sports infrastructure, but also create more opportunities for the new generation of players."
 
Sports experts believe that this initiative will develop Durgapur into one of the most important sports centers in the state of west bengal.
