Bobby Chakraborty's 476th Anti Addication Campaign CKR Girl's High School in Medinipur(W)

West Bengal recorded one of its coldest and foggiest days in West Medinipur since the past decade,ticking down below at 7*C,on January 6th. But this adverse condition couldn’t stop Bobby Chakraborty from flooding the students of Chandrakona Road Girls’ High School,from the 6th-11th grades,with his trademark warmth,love and candor through his powerful and heartwarming Anti Addiction Campaign no.476,titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND',this being his first session in 2026.The students or as Bobby calls them his ‘soldiers’ in his tough battle against the evils of this society, eagerly participated in the interesting and fun social experiments, interactions, role playing and a whole lot of dos and donts in their journey of life as they grow up. The pertinent topics of addiction through smoking, alcoholism, smart phones and other harmful social trends like rampant use of abusive language, online obscenity on social media to gain popularity, online gambling through games,bullying etc. were discussed with a lot of real life references and thrown open by Bobby for a two way discussion.

The official photographer of this life changing adda session was an extremely active and well mannered soldier Suhana Ghosh(X), who was assisted by ‘ The 1st Soldier’,Moon Karak(IX). The other two coveted ceremonial titles of ‘The Best Friend' and ‘The Trendsetter’ went to soldiers… Swarnali Dey(VI) and Joyeta Sikari(IX) respectively. Swarnali also emerged as one of the winners in the concluding contest,along with soldiers… Srabani Dutta(IX) and Suparna Ghosh(IX), who along with the D.O.P. Suhana were given special prizes,customised HCF t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by Bobby.

In her vote of thanks, the Teacher-In-Charge Anita Bisoi expressed her overwhelm and deep admiration towards this extremely necessary awareness program of Bobby. The Event Coordinator Joydip Mukherjee, along with every teacher expressed their gratefulness towards Bobby for his free of cost, selfless contribution towards the society.
Applause and appreciation go towards this much needed collaboration of the Education Department,Government of West Bengal with actor/activist/teacher of method acting,Bobby,towards the betterment of the youth .
