ANTI ADDICTION CAMPAIGN,IGNITES A VOLCANO OF REMARKABLE YOUTH AWARENESS IN HALDIA-MEDINIPUR(EAST)

An unbelievable rollercoaster of mass hysteria and youth awareness,swept the sprawling campus of Bajitpur Saradamani Balika Vidyalaya,one of the renowned schools in Haldia, Medinipur district(East), as Bobby Chakraborty,powerfully carried out the 488th session globally,of his path breaking,free of cost,preventive anti addiction campaign here, on July 22nd.

The enterprising and the socially responsible Headmistress,Sumana Pahari,a strong supporter of Bobby’s awareness drive,along with her efficient team of teachers and coordinators,Nimai Jana being the prime connect with Bobby,successfully organized this once in a lifetime experience for their students of the 7th to 12th grades. 

Bobby,a renowned actor/activist/teacher of method acting from Kolkata,has been changing millions of lives with this powerful interactive program for the children since the past 2 decades,aptly titled ‘I AM THE KING OF MY MIND'. This program empowers a child to stay away from all sorts of addiction (smoking,alcoholism,smart phones) and harmful social trends(abusive language, online obscenity for popularity on social media, gambling through online games,bullying,ragging etc.), through a lot of fun activities, real life incidents and interesting social experiments. 

The official photographer of this sparkling session was an extremely well mannered and hardworking soldier Soumili Manna(IX),assisted by soldier Anushka Bera(XII),who also won the ceremonial titles of ‘The 1st Soldier ‘ and ‘The Trendsetter’. Anushka evidently was the most participative in the audience.The other coveted title of ‘The Best Friend’ went to soldier Sampurna Jana(XI),who was also the technical help of this powerpacked adda session. 

The concluding fun contest had soldiers…Ritika Maji(XI),Ishika Bera(IX) and Angona Sahu(IX) as the winners,who along with Soumili, were given special prizes,customised HCF t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by Bobby. 

A pleasant chaos ensued after the Headmistress’ motivational vote of thanks,in which she and the other teachers expressed their disbelief of how effectively and miraculously Bobby was able to hold the attention of every student,including the notorious ones, for over 3hrs. 

The students or ' Bobby's soldiers fighting against darkness’, flocked around their favourite ‘Bobby Dada', with their confessions and promises,also to give him a hug,to touch his feet,to get his autograph and click a selfie with him, long after the last bell rang.
