Animal lover Amir Sheikh - the 'free' veterinarian
They are street dogs - the road is their life, the road is their death. They don't get two time fixed meals a day. Far from medical treatment, they get beaten on the forehead by their landlords for the little food they eat. Sometimes hot boiling water are thrown at their bodies. They spend their days carelessly eating discarded food from hotels or mid-day meals. Yet, there are people in the world whose hearts tremble for them. One such person is Amir Sheikh, a resident of Muratipur village, Bhattar in east bardhaman district of bengal. He went from being an animal lover to a 'free' veterinarian.
Every day, Amir wakes up very early in the morning and goes to the fish shop. He works there. His family somehow survives on the income he earns. After work, he takes his beloved bike with him, hangs a banner with an awareness message around his neck, and sets out on the road in search of sick or injured street dogs. Of course, there is also a sound box and some medical supplies. The goal is to make the sick dog healthy. In this way, animal lover Amir has been selflessly serving dogs for almost the last 20 years. Although he is not a veterinarian, a kind-hearted veterinarian, seeing his 'love' for the helpless street animal, taught him his basic lessons. This is saving the lives of many helpless street animals. If there is a serious health problem, he takes the animal to the local animal hospital for treatment.

Not only in his own area, but also from various places, Amir, an animal lover, receives calls to serve sick or injured dogs. He immediately reaches there. Despite the many shortcomings in his family, he gives food and clothes to the helpless people to the best of his ability. Many people also extend a helping hand to him for his noble work. Amir's biggest recipe in life is to keep smiling. An additional credit goes to the unwavering encouragement of his family members.
The youngest daughter, Tanisha, a fifth-grade student, sometimes goes out with her father to help the helpless street dogs. Amir is proud of her daughter. He is happy to think that in the future, at least one person of his family will take care of those helpless animals in his absence.
Aamir's appeal to the common people - street dogs are speechless, helpless. They cannot tell anyone about their suffering. Please don't hurt them. Instead, give them some food. You will see that they will be the first to come forward like a friend in your trouble.
