The 43rd Bharat Scouts & Guides District Rally and Camporee was formally set in motion with the unveiling of the official event logo by the Divisional Railway Manager, Asansol Division, Smt. Vinita Srivastava, on 17 December 2025 at Asansol Railway Station, marking the commencement of a three-day district-level scouting and guiding programme. The logo unveiling ceremony, organised by The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Asansol District, was held in the presence of Scouts & guides volunteers and Railway officials, reflecting the active cooperation between the organisation and the railway administration in promoting youth development, discipline and nation-building.

 

 

The Bharat Scouts & Guides is one of India’s premier voluntary youth organisations, working with the objective of character building, inculcation of discipline, leadership development and a spirit of service among young people. Through structured programmes, outdoor activities and community-oriented initiatives, the organisation plays a vital role in nurturing responsible, self-reliant and socially conscious citizens.

 

In furtherance of these objectives, The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Asansol District, is organising the 43rd District Rally and Camporee from 19 December to 21 December 2025 at Divisional Loco Stadium, Asansol.  The three-day programme is expected to witness participation of around 700 Bharat Scout and Guides members comprising 600 boys and girls volunteers , leaders and well wishers.

 

 

During the camporee, a wide range of planned activities focusing on discipline, teamwork, leadership skills, social awareness and civic responsibility will be conducted. These activities are designed to provide young participants with an enriching learning environment beyond the classroom, encouraging holistic personality development.

 

The district rally and camporee is envisaged as a constructive platform for interaction, learning and mutual understanding among scouts and guides. It will also further strengthen the long-standing association and cooperation between The Bharat Scouts & Guides and the railway establishment of Asansol Division, reinforcing their shared commitment towards youth empowerment and nation-building.
