Trump's Ghaza Peace Plan: Audacious Netanyahu adds further points to put new loads on Palestinians

What President Donald Trump's ambitious 20-point Ghaza Peace Plan prescribed isn't fully agreed by Benjamin Netanyahu - the Israeli Premier, still, Washington hasn't shown enough courage to rebuke Tel Aviv, instead has chosen 'compelling' both- Hamas and Palestinian leadership to 'compromise' with the newer conditions.

Netanyahu said in Washington this week that Israel supported the plan, but the Israeli cabinet hasn’t formally voted to accept the proposal and has yet to schedule the vote. The right-wing leadership in Tel Aviv already have subscribed their negative thoughts about Trump's plan and have ridiculed Netanyahu for his recent 'shifting' mind.

Netanyahu didn’t hold extensive discussion on the plan during the meeting, but he did address two of the main points of contention from his hardline coalition’s point of view - the possibility of recognizing future Palestinian statehood, as well as the disarmament of Hamas and demilitarization of Gaza.

Netanyahu told his ministers that the wording pertaining to a Palestinian state was 'ambiguous', the sources said.

"The Palestinian Authority (PA) is out,” Netanyahu said, according to the highly placed Tel Aviv officials. “Even on the ‘Board of Peace,’ no PA representatives will be appointed. Israel and the US are the ones who decide if it will meet the conditions, and there’s an entire wall of conditions," the Israeli PM stated.

The so-called 'Board of Peace' is described in the Trump proposal as an 'international transitional body' that would oversee the implementation of the plan and be led by the US president.

Netanyahu said that the board would also be in charge of Hamas’ disarmament and Gaza’s demilitarization in a process carried out with us. If they fail to do it – we will do it.'

“That’s agreed between Trump and me. It is tighter than you think. This will end either peacefully or by force, or by both,” the sources cited Netanyahu saying.

Then? Does it sound like a 'Peace Plan'? Or seems to be a mockery of a peace deal - Washington human rights organizations questioned. The Republicans though were yet to pass any remarks on the 'win-win' development. Some Democrats rebuked the Trump administration's 'unnecessary loyalty' towards the Netanyahu government saying: "Once Netanyahu dares to pay no serious heed to the said 20-point Ghaza Peace Plan and dictates his own terms, Trump keeps mum, but echoing Netanyahu’s nefarious demands of further oppression in Ghaza in the disguise of 'peace' and tranquility!"

Netanyahu administration's National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir meanwhile has cited the Trump proposal as porous and 'injurious' to Tel Aviv's internal security, which has put the Israeli Premier in another trouble.

Meanwhile, the Qatari, Egyptian and Turkish officials met the Hamas negotiators on last Tuesday night to discuss a tangible response to Trump administration's proposal aiming to end the war in Gaza, an official familiar with the talks said.

Hamas, as was learnt, has told the mediators that it's 'carefully reviewing' the proposal and will prepare a final response once it completes consultations with other Palestinian factions, the official said.

The Trump administration, according to a White House official, also has chosen to keep sharp watches on the developments.
